Since every time I heard some awesome information I would stop what I was doing and head for greener pastures. The problem being I would build all these foundations, but never stick around to see the building be built.

Add to this the fact that since I have owned my own business for many years and most of the time I am able to listen to audio programs, I have heard thousands of different lectures, infomercials, programs over the years.

Well anyway since I have been listening to the alpha brain wave audios and have been staying focused on one project other than my catering business, I have limited the amount of outside information I have been taking in.

But we all have our weak moments and I received an email for a free mp3 interview with Tony Robbins by Jay Abraham. Now I am not a fan of Tony Robbins but Jay Abraham is a master’s master when it comes to business and marketing. Although I do blame him for me losing over a half million dollars (but that is a whole nother story).

I download the mp3 and head into the kitchen to work, and to my amazement Tony Robbins blows me away. So now I have to listen to more of him, yet while getting his information, I get a free interview with Robert Cialdini the foremost expert on persuasion. So now I have to get his books.

I guess it is better than being hooked on drugs. Yet I am determined that what ever I learn I will not lose my present focus. So if you have not heard Tony Robbins in a few years or decades, head over to his site and pick up the free download.

I know I had great plans. Notebooks full of goals, dreams and desires. And all in all I have lived a pretty good life. Better than most in this vast world called earth.

Yet as I wash dishes my catering business, I know twenty years ago I did not want to be a dishwasher at this age. Now granted I am a business owner and not a dishwasher, but still washing dishes was not on my lists of goals.

I purchased a program dealing with quantum jumping from one parallel universe to another. True or not who knows, possible I guess, interesting – very. If nothing else it is a great way to get you to visualize your future and greatly increase you chances of success.

My point is his course is based on the fact that you make endless decisions that greatly alter the direction of your life everyday. Thus although we can not change those in the past, maybe we can take a little longer and make better decisions going forward.

Recently I have been more focused and energized to accomplishing a new goal then ever. And the only real decision I can link it to is listening to the alpha brain wave audios.

During my research into figuring out if this brain wave stuff really works or not I came across 2012 Prophecies Revealed web site. I had no idea what it was talking about at first. So of course my first reaction is this is a bunch of bull.

Then I read on and some of the history is pretty interesting. Now I still don’t believe the world is going to end 12 21 12, or December 21, 2012 but it sure is worth reading about.

Some of those consipracy theories are more entertaining than prime time television. And who knows, maybe this stuff is true. Anyway I would love to hear your comments on if you believe in doomsday or not.

I mean what is the use of spending all this time improving your mind if we are all going to die in 2012. Well I am on month four of my mind waves training and I don’t think I will be stopping anytime soon even for the end of the world.

First you could wad the money up and throw it at them and say if you need it that bad take it.  Or you could purchase something they want with the money and give it as a gift.  Same money vastly different results.

I think they are related. Meaning once you get started, if you quickly start making small gains, you will get more excited. The more excited you get the more realistic you why becomes the more you work at it.

I guess that is where momentum comes in. Again you hear so many wealthy people say once they became successfull, they can not believe how easy it is to make money.

Yet getting to that point is the hard part. back to the beginning. If you can find something that allows you to see instant results, you will be much more likely to continue.

Case in point. I started a new internet marketing strategy about a month ago and I am already see small results. Yet even though they are still small, I can’t wait to get up in the morning and check my sales figures. Thus making me want to work even harder at the program.

It is my number one objective to focus on just one money making project outside of my catering business, yet breaking the addiction to seeking the fast buck is difficult. Now throw in time for the family, a healthy amount of relaxation and a booming catering business and wow, I am back to going nuts.

Actually I am doing well sticking to my current commitment to marketing niche blogs based on three word keyword phrases, but that is a whole other conversation. What is driving me crazy is not following up on past projects that I have started.

I guess what has got me so riled up is now that I am in my third month of listening to the alpha and now some beta mind waves mp3’s, I am starting to think clearer and fulfilling my purpose is beginning to absorb more of my time. Now finding my purpose is not the challenge, I know what I need to do, get my online accountability partner program going.

Yet in order to do that I need to cut back on what I am focusing on now, which I promised myself I would follow through on. Yet putting it on paper it looks obvious what I should be doing. I guess I should take a break and think about this for a while.

Financially my catering business is much better, so a big gain. Yet I have been doing little to improve my health. So does that mean my business improvement is just a coincidence and the mind stuff does not work as shown by my health results.

Or do some things just take longer to happen then others. Many people will tell you the law of attraction absolutely works, it just takes the universe longer to accomplish some thing than others. Yet is this just a catch all, as religions use the word faith to cover anything that does not make sense or happen as explained.

Am I opening Pandora’s box here. I don’t know, but I am happy with the results so far. I guess I just have to take a little more responsibility with my health. I have been listening to alpha brain wave audios two and a half hours a day for two months now.

So, would you be surprised to learn that if only around 20% of what you really desire is currently present in your life, it may be that you need to spend some more time consciously working on what you are ‘inputting’ every day to affect what is happening to the other 80%?

So then, what is the recipe for change? As it isn’t possible to control what is happening at a subconscious level, we need to change our input at a conscious level. To do that, we need to do the following…

– Processes such as meditation, positive affirmations, and keeping a daily performance journal, all feed powerful affirming thoughts into the conscious mind, which in turn will ‘drip feed’ into the subconscious mind.

– Whenever negative emotions rise, we need to not let them settle in our minds. Why? Because emotions are transitory. It takes a combination of emotion and though to generate a permanent feeling at a subconscious level, not emotion alone. If we refuse to pay attention to that emotion, it will pass.

– The subconscious can’t distinguish between ‘real’ and ‘imaginary’. Therefore, at the level of our feelings, our subconscious can no longer tell a ‘real’ past event from an ‘imagined’ one. By consistently bringing more positive energy into our lives, over time, perpetual positivity becomes our ‘reality’.

By following the above steps, we can gradually use the 20% of our thoughts that we have the power to control to bring about change to the 80% that just ‘happen’, thus effecting the other 80% of stuff in our lives which feel out of our control.

Well anyway I just wondered upon a understandable video of the Quantum Physics Double Slit Experiment. This was the break through experiment of how an observer changes the results of an action.

I guess some would say it was Quantum Physics that led me to it.
